If you’re looking at this rainbow cauliflower and thinking
so what? it’s just cauliflower, you’re going to be pleasantly surprised. We certainly were. Not only are the multicolored florets pretty, but they also taste so incredibly fresh despite having come from the freezer aisle. They don’t bare that slightly unpleasant smell that many veggies like cauliflower, broccoli, and Brussels sprouts sometimes have. The florets are almost sweet and after just a few minutes in the microwave, they’re perfectly tender.
They’re beautiful enough to be served in a simple white or glass bowl, and they don’t call for any added seasoning. However, they could be a canvas for a olive oil, flaky sea salt, and freshly ground black pepper. But, even left alone, they’re a eye-pleasing side for any meal.
